I was seven years old the first time Dad took me to the turkey woods. I still remember him explaining that an owl hoot made the turkeys gobble and him blowing the old "Who cooks for you" on the owl hooter. Then somewhere in the distance a tom gobbled and then another. Right then and there a seven year old boy became a Turkey Hunter.
